PTE ACADEMIC™, is one of the Pearson Test of English. It is one of the world’s leading providers of secure English language tests that computer-based exams specially set up for people with overseas study and immigration plans.

It is a new type of computer-based international academic English exam.

The test targets are non-English native speakers who need to prove their academic English proficiency. The test can accurately assess the candidates' language skills such as listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

Developed by Pearson, the world's leading learning company, it provides practical language proficiency assessments for universities, higher education institutions, government departments and other institutions that require academic English proficiency certification.

It is hosted by the GMAT test, which is fully recognized and highly recommended by GMAC, can replace TOEFL and IELTS scores to apply for foreign universities.

The PTE Academic English Test has been accepted by the Australian government and used for visa applications since its global opening in October 2009 and its opening in China in December 2009, and it has been recognized and recommended by the US Graduate Management Admissions Examination Board (GMAC®).

It has been accepted by many institutions in 23 countries, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Ireland, France, Spain, China and other countries, including Yale, Harvard, UBC in Canada, Cambridge in the United Kingdom, and China Europe Business School.

The PTE Academic English Test is also designated as one of the official tests by the UK National Border Agency (UKBA). According to preliminary statistics, more than 50% of the top 100 business schools in the world have approved the PTE Academic English Test. Get results quickly

Arrange the exam 24 hours in advance, complete the exam within 3 hours, and receive the electronic transcript within 1 to 5 working days. The transcript can be sent to all overseas colleges and universities in unlimited amounts and free of charge. Candidates can choose the highest score to send. The test consists of four parts: listening, speaking, reading, and writing, which really examines the test taker’s English proficiency. Test scores use the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), and the scores are valid for 2 years.

Flexible exam time and date

Candidates can choose the test time in the monthly fixed test period; in the case that the test space is full or the test time is inappropriate, we also accept applications from educational institutions (non-individuals) to open exclusive test positions.

Can replace TOEFL and IELTS exams

The PTE Academic English Test uses the European Common Reference Framework (CEFR) scoring standards as same as TOEFL and IELTS. PTE academic English test scores range from 10 to 90 points.
