Australian test centers update

Updated November 11, 2021

As a result of the current COVID-19 lockdowns and in accordance with local health and government guidance, the decision was taken to suspend PTE exam testing in a number of locations. However, testing is available across Australia in 33 centers, which includes Melbourne as well as in other major cities such as Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Parramatta, Perth and Sydney.

Please note that the following measures have been put in place in our test centers in New South Wales and Victoria:

In Victoria:

  • All test takers may need to provide evidence of being fully vaccinated (double dose) unless they have a medical exemption.

  • Acceptable evidence can be one of the following two documents:

    • Immunisation history statement

    • COVID-19 digital certificate

In New South Wales:

  • All test takers may need to provide evidence of being fully vaccinated (double dose).

  • Acceptable evidence can be one of the following two documents:

    • Immunisation history statement

    • COVID-19 digital certificate

Any vaccination evidence may need to be recorded by test centre staff on the day of your test, and you must check-in with either ServiceVictoria app or ServiceNSW app.

Please see here for further information on Covid-19 vaccines.

Demand from test takers to book an appointment is extremely high and test–takers are urged to check here on a regular basis so they don’t miss out on slots becoming available at their preferred test center.

All test centers have been re-opened in strict accordance with local authority requirements and with all necessary health and safety measures.
