New Speaking Task: Summarize Group Discussion, Respond to a Situation

Human Review: DI, RL, SGD, RTS, SWT, WE, SST

Cross-Marking: RA(❌No reading Marks), ASQ (❌No Speaking Marks), FIBRW(❌No Writing Marks)

Marking Criteria: Content Marks increased

Score Remark: Cut-off date Submitted by 02 August 

02 Q：Is the test more difficult?
1️⃣Marking/Grading: There has been no change in the overall difficulty of the exam grading.

2️⃣Study Effort: However, more effort is now required in preparation. More training is required, therefore we have updated our course structure.

3️⃣Visa Score Requirements:  
     - For students targeting below 50, the exam has become easier.
     - For those aiming for 65 or higher, the exam has become more difficult.

4️⃣ Band 7 (Proficient English):  
     - Speaking has increased to 76      - Writing has increased to 69

5️⃣Band 8 (Superior English):  
     - Speaking has increased to 88      - Writing has increased to 85

03 Q：What questions involves human review? Is human review very strict?

Human Review: DI, RL, SGD, RTS, SWT, WE, SST


At this stage, the human review is quite generous and not very strict.

04 Q：Have the score requirements changed for my chosen visa or program?

Yes. The requirements for DHA have changed. Please refer to the photo or DHA website.
